Saluting the album we didn't want but needed.
In memory of U2’s Songs of Innocence barrelling into iTunes libraries worldwide ten years ago this month, today I’ll offer my defense of it from 2020. Which, if I do say so myself, holds up. Give it a chance if you haven’t. It’s a listen that just might change you, or at least show you a good time.
Also, remember when it was called Twitter and I was on it? Ha. Innocence/experience indeed.
